Peter J. Dauster has been practicing law in Fort Collins, Colorado since 2007. Pete’s practice
areas include general civil litigation, personal injury law, common interest community law,
landlord-tenant law, real estate law, general business law and alternative dispute resolution.
Prior to moving to Fort Collins, Pete practiced insurance defense litigation in Memphis,
Tennessee with The Hardison Law Firm and personal injury and workers compensation
litigation and debtor bankruptcy in Jackson, Tennessee where he was a partner in the law firm
Hardee, Martin, Dauster & Donahoe, P.A. Pete is also licensed to practice law in Wyoming.
Pete graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in Administrative Management in 1985
and the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at Memphis State University in 1989 where he was
a member of the Moot Court Board. In January 2011 Pete completed the 40-Hour Mediation
Training course through the Colorado Bar Association.
Pete is a member of the Larimer County Bar Association where he currently serves on the
Executive Board as President. He is also a member of the Colorado and Wyoming Bar
Pete’s community service includes serving as legal counsel and as a former Board member of Animal House, a Fort Collins no-kill dog
rescue shelter, and as a volunteer mediator for the City of Fort Collins’ community mediation program. He is also a frequent speaker
at Landlord-Tenant seminars in the Fort Collins area.
